Hi! My name is Mary Bryce, and I am a CBWS certified babywearing educator! Dedicated to supporting parents and caregivers in their journey to hold their childfren close, regain traditional babywearing knowledge that has been lost to our communities, and help to life the heavy load of raising little ones.
I was born and raised in Oxford County! I have always loved and cherished Maine deeply and am a Mainer through and through. I have always had a desire to give back to the community that raised me; babywearing education is one of the way I hope to do that!
Before becoming a stay at home mom, I was an 8th grade teacher, and coach, in Maine public schools for five years. Prior to that, I was an outdoor educator and backpacking guide. Teaching, learning, and empowering others has been at the forefront of my identity for as long as I can remember.
Becoming a parent rocked my world and changed me in ways I could never imagine. Raising my child is the most important, wondrous, and fulfilling thing I have ever done. I cannot think of a better way to spend my time than to create a kind and caring community of parents and caregivers where we uplife one another through the joys and powers of babywearing!
CBWS, the Center for Babywearing Studies, is an organization that trains babywearing educators in safe, practical, and empathety driven babywearing practices.
