Three times a month, Mainely Babywearing will host a free, hour long meetup at a different location! Locations include Norway, Auburn, and Portland, Maine. At meetups, you can connect with other caregivers that are enthusiastic about babywearing and start to build your own babywearing community!
You can also access basic babywearing support by asking the educator fit and safety questions, or trying on lending library carriers!
Please note that if you are looking for detailed help or would like to learn a new skill regarding babywearing, booking a private consult may be better suited to your needs!
To RSVP to an event or meetup and tell me more about your wishes and goals for the event, you can do so here: Mainely Babywearing Event RSVP
A recurring walk for moms and babys! Check the flyer for more info! I will be there each Friday to provide free fitchecks, answer any babywearing questions, loan out lending library carriers, and give any babywearing support I can. But this is also, first and foremost, a way to get outside, get some exercise, and enjoy time with some other moms!
A once a month meetup at the Lithgow Library Children's section!
Meetups are a place to get some quick babywearing help in an informal setting, chat with other baby wearing caregivers, and try on lending library carriers! Rentals of carriers can not happen in the library, so if you would like to rent a carrier let me know and we can do so after the event is over!
It is important to note that this event is not sponsored by the library, though we do have permission to be there! This means that other folks unrelated to the event may be present in the Children's section at the time!
We will start by learning some babywearing basics via a demo! We will have lending library carriers to try on, and some time to make connections as well!
Again, if you have specific skills you would like to work on, or a specific carrier you would like help with, please consider reaching out via email or socials, or fill in the Event RSVP form which you can find above!
Knowing what you may need help with in advance helps me to be prepared and better serve you!
