Mainely Babywearing is an organization, owned by Mary Bryce, CBWS Certified Babywearing Educator, that is dedicated to supporting parents and caregivers through the ancient art of babywearing. Babywearing, once a normal part of caring for infants and raising children, and traditionally passed from one caregiver to the next, can now seem foreign, difficult, and even scary. Mainely Babywearing is here to help parents and caregivers feel empowered and supported in adding babywearing to their caregiving tool kit and create a thriving network of babywearers in the state of Maine. 

A babywearing educator is a person who, either through being immersed in longstanding babywearing culture and traditional knowledge, or who was trained through a reputable certificate program, has the knowledge, experience, and expertise of babywearing to be able to teach and empower others to babywear safely and confidently. They can provide hands on help, and a set of expert eyes that seeking help via the internet often cannot, and they can teach within the many nuances that exist within babywearing-- working with your specific needs, goals, and child.
